Soproges Ltée was established in the year 1983 as a Private Limited Company to offer services of a Real Estate Agency for the purchase and sale of land, residential/ commercial/ industrial/administrative buildings, bungalows, villas and for property management, valuation and surveying. It has built up a support unit comprising Land Surveyors, Chartered Valuers, and Marketing Officers, to undertake the subdivision and parceling of land for morcellements professionally and efficiently. It is one of the oldest Real Estate Companies incorporated in Mauritius.

Soproges Ltée functions under the aegis of a Board of Management and its personnel comprise a Managing Director, an Administrative Secretary, three Sales and Marketing Executives with a very long track record and, a Secretary/Receptionist. The Company has retained services of Legal and Financial Consultants to allow it to always function within legal frameworks. Its Head Office is in George Town Building, Quatre Bornes and sub-office in the Renganaden Seeneevassen Building, Port Louis.

In the execution of its activities, Soproges Ltée:

  • Acts as intermediary between vendor and purchaser, lessor and lessee;
  • Negotiates with both for conclusion of agreements;
  • Facilitates visits and ensures correctness of sites and specifications;
  • Advises clients on services of land surveyors, public notaries, attorneys-at-law as well as on other relevant matters; and assists them until the signing of sale contracts.
  • Carries out research to ensure that the property for sale is saleable, legally cleared, physically possible;
  • Administers properties on behalf of clients, acts as their trustees for maintenance and rental;

In addition to the extensive network established in Mauritius, the Company is in constant touch with Mauritians settled abroad through its business agencies in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, South Africa and Australia. This situation offers enormous facilities when clients wish to sell/rent to expatriates.
